Los Lobos 8.24.07
Los Lobos put on another great show. They came out to play at Chicago's Lincoln Park Zoo. A summer event called Jamming at the zoo. This was our first time there lawn chairs and floor blankets were welcomed Ravinia style. A Group called the Lee Boys opened up for them and put on a good jazzy, blues performance.
Lobos opening songs with La Pistola Y El Corazon is one of our Latin favorites. Anselma was my all time favorite of the evening's jam.
Rain was in the forecast but not a drop on the evenings event. an overall nice show near the Lions. It would have been ironically nice if they had them setup up near the wolves, no matter there was plenty of howling form the audience.

We're fans of Fandanguero. If you ever find yourself on the Southside stop by and listen to the cool sounds of Fandanguero's tunes at Junior's Bar in Pilsen (2058 W. Cermak & Hoyne) every Sat night.
